With COVID-19 the CDC Stresses Prevention

1220174622

It’s important to keep in mind that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the best approach to staying healthy and stopping any spread COVID-19 is the use of these prevention steps:

  1. Frequently and thoroughly wash your hands (for at least 20 seconds)
  2. Try to avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  3. Try to avoid contact with anyone who is sick
  4. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

Further, the CDC stresses staying at home if you suspect you are sick to avoid spreading the virus, and to cover your coughing or sneezing with a tissue and then immediately throw that tissue away.

Also, if you are sick or think you have been exposed, contact your primary care physician for advice on next steps.
